How LearnHyper Makes Money — Referral Disclosure
We earn referral commissions when readers open accounts through our links. Exactly how that works, what it costs you, and where it could bias what we write.
We think you should be able to read this page in under two minutes and know exactly what our incentives are.
The short version
When you open a Hyperliquid account through a link on this site, two things happen:
- You get a 4% discount on your trading fees. Hyperliquid applies this to accounts opened through a referral link, for your first $25M of traded volume — a threshold almost no retail trader reaches, so in practice it is permanent. Sign up directly at the exchange and you pay full price instead; nobody gets a commission and you get no discount.
- We receive a share of the fees you pay. It is a percentage of the trading fees that Hyperliquid charges you — not an extra fee added on top, and not a share of your profits or losses.
You pay less than you would signing up directly. That is the whole arrangement.
What this means for our incentives
We have an obvious incentive for you to open an account and trade. You should read everything on this site with that in mind. Three things we do to keep it honest:
We say when an instrument is wrong for you. Perpetual futures are a poor way to express a multi-year view because funding costs compound against you. We write that on the pages where it matters, including pages where saying it costs us signups.
We do not show signup prompts to people who cannot use the product. If Hyperliquid is unavailable in your country, our guide for your country will tell you that and will not show you a signup button.
We do not publish price predictions or signals. We have no way of knowing where an asset is going, and a site that earns money from your trading volume is the last place you should get that opinion.
What we do not do
- We are not paid to rank one venue above another. Where we compare venues, the ordering reflects the data in the comparison, not a commercial arrangement.
- We do not receive payment for individual articles or reviews.
- We do not sell your data. See our privacy policy.
- We do not manage money, take custody of funds, or execute trades on anyone’s behalf.
Data sources
Contract data on this site — prices, funding rates, open interest, leverage limits — is pulled directly from the public Hyperliquid API at build time, and the retrieval date is shown next to it. You can query the same endpoint yourself and check every number we publish. We would rather you verify than trust us.
Who we are
LearnHyper is maintained by a small independent team. We are not affiliated with Hyperliquid, SpaceX, or any of the companies whose assets we write about.
